History of Harmony
Founded and built on an uncommon dedication to quality and service, we are first and foremost a customer-service organization. We just happen to specialize in commercial print and print marketing solutions. For over 80 years, Harmony has strategically grown its capabilities from being a one-color offset printing shop to a fully diverse print service provider.
1941 -Artley Cullum opens the Country Print Shop (CPS).
1955 – Tom Harman joins CPS.
1963 – CPS headquarters moves to Bourbon, Indiana.
1975 – Tom purchaes CPS and renames it Harmony Press (HP).
1975 – Changed from being just a newspaper printer to a commercial printer.
1978 – Purchased 1st 2-Color Press.
1978 – Purchased 1st 4-Color Press.
1998 – Timothy J. and Joel Harman purchase HP.
2004 – HP is renamed Harmony Marketing Group (HMG).
2006 – HMG adds 12-Color Perfector Press.
2007 – HMG adds digital printing capabilities.
2009 – HMG acquires Shepard Services to add mailing capabilities.
2011 – HMG acquires Grace Copy Shop, expanding digital capacity.
2019 – HMG installs Large Format Printing.
2021 – HMG installs 8-Color Perfector Press.
2024 – HMG rebrands as Harmony.
